BISLA provides the following services:
For Children:
- Behavioral Intervention Services: BISLA provides in home, school and
community services for children ages 18 months to 15 years that exhibit different challenging
behaviors and are diagnosed within the Autism spectrum (including Asperger Syndrome), ADD, ADHD,
learning deficits, and others. The intensity and nature of the intervention are determined based
on a thorough functional behavioral assessment (FBA), in agreement with parents. Based on the FBA
results, recommendations can vary from a few hours, to intense intervention of up to 40 hours per week.
Once the intervention begins, the implementation and progress are constantly monitored and supervised
to ensure adherence to the goals. The intervention is based on the principles of Applied Behavior
Analysis (ABA), and in addition to direct intervention, we also provide parent and teacher
training, and participate in IEPs if needed.
